Uganda: A court on Friday sentenced Thomas Kwoyelo, a mid-level commander in the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebel group, to 40 years in prison for war crimes. The court found Thomas Kwoyelo guilty in August, in the first domestic trial of a senior member of the LRA.
